Bothe inks professional pact with Kickers
Roger Bothe, a 2006 Thomas Dale High School graduate who led the Knights to two state soccer titles, recently signed a contract to play professionally for the local Richmond Kickers.

On a 25-0 roll entering the region finals, the Lady Knights seemed destined for a date in the state championship final four. However, a subpar first half against Cosby and a meeting with Eastern Region juggernaut Princess Anne brought the magical season to an end.

Area students on Dean’s List at VT
A host of local students have been named to the Dean’s List at Virginia Tech for the fall 2009 semester. To qualify for the dean’s list, students must attempt at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.4 grade point average, on a 4.0 scale, during the semester.
