Art students at the Specialty Center for Visual & Performing Arts at Thomas Dale High School received awards in national and regional art contests recently. The J-ART competition evaluated works made entirely of Styrofoam. The contest was cross curricular between art and science and the winning pieces will journey to the sea floor during Expedition 340T.
