The Chesterfield/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs the community’s help to catch the man who robbed the Wachovia Bank branch at 2000 Snead Avenue in Colonial Heights on Friday, March 5.
The suspect entered the bank at 10 a.m., approached a teller and presented a note that demanded money. After receiving the cash, the suspect fled on foot and may have gotten into a dark green or gray mini-van with primer paint on the passenger side.
The suspect is a short, white male, age 25 to 30, 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds with short hair and a pronounced chin. He wore an orange University of Virginia baseball hat, dark sunglasses, black zippered jacket and blue jeans.

Crime Solvers is looking for a major sponsor for its coming golf tournament at the Birkdale Golf Club on April 15. The golf tournament is Crime Solvers’ primary fundraiser.
