Police have arrested a juvenile male who robbed the 7-Eleven at 12120 Harrowgate Road at about 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 20. No one was injured during the incident.
Police said the suspect approached the clerk, displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash. Upon receiving the money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.
Within minutes of the robbery, police apprehended the suspect nearby. Investigators determined that the weapon displayed during the incident was a pellet gun.
The suspect, a 17-year-old male, has been charged with robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, abduction and kidnapping and wearing a mask in public.
Police continue their investigation into this incident.
