The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program has been asked for its help to solve an armed robbery.
Just prior to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, a man entered the Turner Cleaners at 2301 Turner Road. He asked the clerk about the cost of dry cleaning a suit. As the clerk answered, the suspect leaned closer to the counter, drew out a large hunting knife and demanded money. The clerk complied and the suspect left on foot in an unknown direction.
The suspect was a white male. He appeared to be 60-65 years old, 5 feet, 11 inches tall, 175 pounds. His hair and general appearance was described as unkempt. He was wearing a light blue, long-sleeve T-shirt, blue denim jeans, white tennis shoes and sunglasses.
Pictures of the suspect can be seen at crimesolvers.net under the “Crime of the Week” link.
