The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program wants to help Chesterfield Police resolve two series of residential break-ins.
Between Aug. 1 and Aug. 21, 11 residential burglaries were reported in the Meadowdale area. The suspects forced their way in through rear doors, and a variety of items were stolen.
Between Aug. 7 and Sept. 12, seven residential break-ins were reported in the Sherbourne Heights, Fuqua Farms and Glen Conner subdivisions. In two of those cases, window air conditioning units were pushed from windows to gain entry. In those cases, various items were taken, including numerous pieces of jewelry.
Investigators are not certain whether the two series are connected. You can see maps of the affected areas at www.crimesolvers.net. From the main page, simply select the “Crime of the Week” link.
