Dorothy A. Jaeckle, member of the Board of Supervisors for the Bermuda District, and Mr. Dale Patton, Planning Commissioner for the Bermuda District, are inviting the public to attend a meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at 7 p.m. at the Bensley Park Community Center, 2900 Drewry’s Bluff Rd.
This meeting offers information on the planned acquisition and development of Phase I of the Falling Creek Historical Park property and pending actions by the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors for Substantial Accord Determination.
Substantial Accord Determination means that the property acquired/developed by the County meets the requirements of the County’s Comprehensive Plan for location and use of the land.
The property to be acquired consists of approximately six acres to be used for a historical park. To speak at the meeting, a sign-up sheet will be available at the door.
