Ryan Sherman earns degree and commission from Coast Guard Academy

U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, presented Ryan Sherman with his Commission of Ensign in the United States Coast Guard, May 16, 2012 in New London, Ct. Mr. Sherman, a graduate of Thomas Dales class of 2008, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Government and International Relations from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy where he also played Rugby for four years. Ensign Sherman will be a Deck Watch Officer on the USCG Cutter Jarvis stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii.
