Primrose School at Ironbridge Corner demonstrated its commitment to making a difference in Central Virginia.  On April 28, the school held their annual Spring Fling fundraiser to help make giving back a top priority in the local community, and raise money to support two worthwhile causes. This year’s event raised $1,006 which will be split between The Central Virginia Chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the Primrose Children’s Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that supports groups that focus on the needs of children and families.

“We want to share our excitement for building active minds, healthy bodies and happy hearts with the community,” said Georgia Wiley of Primrose School at Ironbridge Corner.

“Not only were we able to raise funds for a great community cause, but our Spring Fling event also gave local families an opportunity to come together in a fun and exciting way.”

The event included inflatables, dunk tank, face painting, photo booth, many games and activities, as well as food. The silent auction was a huge success.  Our families are amazing in their support for what we do here. It’s a grand statement that giving back to our community can be both fun and rewarding.

Giving back to the community was a major focus of the event and a key component of the exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum, which balances character development with academics and play.

Primrose is the first preschool organization in the country to require all of its schools to become SACS CASI or NCA CASI accredited. Primrose Schools stands behind its commitment to deliver an exceptional early childhood experience. For more information, visit www.PrimroseSchools.com.
