Wilson named to Clemson University dean’s list

Riley David Wilson of Chester has been named to the Dean’s List at Clemson University for the spring 2012 semester. Wilson is majoring in Chemical Engineering. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student achieved a grade-point average between 3.50 and 3.99 on a 4.0 scale.

Melanie Green graduates from Wake Forest University

Melanie Green of Chester,  received a Bachelor of Science degree from Wake Forest University during commencement exercises May 21.

Tuck makes dean’s list

Alexa Tuck, of Chester, is among the 559 students who earned dean’s list honors for the spring 2012 semester at Mount St. Mary’s University. Alexa, a junior at the Mount, achieved dean’s list by maintaining a 3.4 or higher grade point average. Alexa is the daughter of Ms. Beth N. Faughn.

JMU announce President’s List

The following James Madison University students have been named to the president’s list for the spring 2012 semester:

• Amanda Hoffman of Chester has earned president’s list honors. Hoffman is majoring in accounting.
• Kate Reiman of Chesterfield has earned president’s list honors. Reiman is majoring in biology.
• Eliza Jane Charbonneau of Chesterfield has earned president’s list honors. Charbonneau is majoring in communication studies.
• Alexandra Greene of Chesterfield has earned president’s list honors. Greene is majoring in English.
• Caitlin Bailey of Chester has earned president’s list honors. Bailey is majoring in interdisciplinary liberal studies.
• Melissa Parker of Chesterfield has earned president’s list honors. Parker is majoring in interdisciplinary liberal studies.
• Aaron Kolleda of Chesterfield has earned president’s list honors. Kolleda is majoring in justice studies.
• Alexandra Wilson of Chester has earned president’s list honors. Wilson is majoring in management.

Students who receive president’s list honors must carry a semester course load of at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.9 or above.
