Meadowbrook produces leaders

In an effort to build tomorrow’s leaders, Meadowbrook High School and Falling Creek Elementary School created a mentoring program for fifth grade boys.

The program is called SAFE, Student Athletes for Education.  Select players from Meadowbrook’s Varsity Football team, along with Coach Troy Taylor and Coach Tony Taylor, worked with 5th grade students from Falling Creek Elementary School for several weeks focusing on citizenship, good grades, preparation for middle school and setting goals for

the future.  The team’s dedication, encouragement, and compassion left a lasting impression with the boys. The SAFE will resume next school year.
