Mary Allen, parent of Marcus Allen who plays for the Chesterfield Baseball Club’s Bellwood Shetland team said, “These boys really know how to play baseball.” The eight- and nine year-olds have been on a winning streak and have a record of eight wins out of eight games played.  They play their final game this Saturday at the Ironbridge ballpark located in the Harry G. Daniel Park at Ironbridge.   The team pictured in no certain order are Marcus, Dale Jr., Gavin, Ethan, Michael, Anthony, Dante, Jordan, Ryan, Joey, Rashad, Sabastian, Justin and Brady.  Coaches for the team are Coach Dale, Coach Skip and Coach Hugo.

The Chesterfield Baseball Club will be hosting, for the fourth year, the 2012 Bronco – 11 League Pony World Series.  The World Series play will be held July 26 thru July 29 at the Harry G. Daniel Park at Ironbridge.
