Golfing for a cause

The Jamestown 4-H Education Center is partnering with the Kiwanis Club of Toano for their fifth annual golf tournament.  The tournament is scheduled for Friday, May 18, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

The Jamestown 4-H Educational Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of youth and adult volunteers through innovative 4-H camping, environmental education and leadership training. They are organized exclusively for non-profit, charitable, benevolent, scientific and educational purposes.  The partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Toano makes sense as both entities have a strong focus on improving the lives of children and their families on local communities.

The tourney will take place at the Williamsburg National Golf Club. The cost is $350 for a foursome and $100 for an individual which includes lunch, green and cart fees, range balls, dinner and prizes.

To register make checks payable to Kiwanis Club of Toano, P.O. Box 745, Norge, Va. 23127.  For more information contact Doug Cash at 757-229-5629 or by email at dcash@cffc.com.
