The Chesterfield County Fair Association is once again offering two $1,000 scholarships to be awarded to individuals seeking a formal education beyond high school.

The applicant must be a citizen of the U.S., and a resident of Chesterfield County. The applicant must be a graduating high school senior with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher (“C” average) or have received a GED within one year of submission of an application for the scholarship.

Applications must be postmarked no later than April 1.

The scholarship is not based on sex, race, religion, financial need, class rank or scholastic major. The goal of the Chesterfield County Fair Association, Inc., through these scholarships, is to help prepare a better future for Chesterfield County and its residents.
