Hartman transfers to Rhode Island

Sam Hartman, who was a 2011 graduate from Thomas Dale High School, attended Fork Union Military School from August 2011 to December 2011 where he was the starting center for the FUMA football team. He was recruited in January by the University of Rhode Island for football and started classes there in January. Sam played football for Thomas Dale (Jersey #71) under Coach Williams and then Coach Tucker for his senior year. He also threw shot put in winter track and threw shot put and discus in spring track.
