On January 24, 12 Matoaca High School AP Computer Science students along with their instructor, Mr. Cassein Carter, participated in a tour of ECPI University at the Moorefield Campus in Richmond. The purpose of the tour was to expose students to the various career opportunities, students can have in the computer science industry. Many careers include Database Design and Development, Website Development, Game Design, Robotics, Engineering, Network Security, and Programming. The students were impressed with the knowledge of the instructors and asked many questions. Furthermore, they walked out with a clear understanding of how the concepts covered in class applies to the many career opportunities in the computer science field.
