The Chesterfield County Public Library’s Central branch library will be temporarily closed as of 5 p.m. Jan. 14, 2012, for necessary maintenance. The anticipated re-opening date is late March, 2012. Customers are encouraged to use CCPL’s other eight branch locations. On a temporary basis, while Central is closed, LaPrade, Chester and Meadowdale libraries will offer Thursday hours beginning Jan. 26 from 1-9 p.m.
The Chesterfield County Public Library’s Ettrick-Matoaca branch closed at 5 p.m. January 21 for major renovations. An interim facility will open on the Ettrick-Matoaca Library front lawn on Feb. 13, 2012. Customers are encouraged to use any of CCPL’s other branch locations during the temporary closure. The renovated Ettrick-Matoaca library building is projected to reopen in early 2013.
