Police ask for public’s help to solve shooting

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify a shooting suspect.

On Tuesday, Nov. 29, at approximately 11:50 p.m., someone fired a shot into a home on Cameron Avenue in Chesterfield County while the residents were asleep. The residents quickly discovered that a shotgun blast had been fired into the front of the house, shattering a front window and leaving pellet holes throughout the interior.

Thankfully, no one was struck and the police were immediately called. Detectives are working on leads, but are asking for the public’s help.
