School vandals sought by police

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help to identify and locate suspects involved with the vandalism of a local school.

Between the evening of Friday, Oct. 7, and the morning of Saturday, Oct. 8, someone broke into St. Michael’s School, 8706 Quaker Lane. While inside, the suspect, or suspects, ransacked several areas of the school. Spray paint cans were taken from a storage area and used to paint drug-related pictures and statements all over the interior and playground areas of the school. Desks were turned over, paperwork was strewn all over the floor, sporting equipment was also scattered throughout the gymnasium, glass display cases were broken out and fluorescent bulbs were smashed.

The damage was extensive, and detectives are looking for leads in the case. Pictures of the damage can be seen in the Crime of the Week section of crimesolvers.net.
