Big summer events for CBC Bronco and Mustang leagues

For the third year, Chesterfield Baseball Clubs (CBC) will host the PONY Baseball Bronco (11-year-olds) World Series at Harry G. Daniel Park at Iron Bridge from Wednesday, July 27, through Saturday, July 30.Teams from across the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean will travel to Chesterfield to compete in the tournament. CBC will be represented by a team of 15 11-year-old boys from Chesterfield County.

CBC will also be hosting the Mustang 10-year-old Zone tournament with four teams from the East Coast participating.  The winner will advance to Burleson, Texas, for the Mustang World Series Aug. 3-6.  However, this local event will run from July 28-30 also at Iron Bridge Park.  CBC’s team will consist of 15 players from Chesterfield
Opening ceremonies for the PONY World Series will take place at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at Iron Bridge Park.  Weeknight games are at 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday’s championship round games will be at 3p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Admission is $7 per day for adults, $5 per day for children ages 5-12 and children under 5 are free. Tickets will be sold at the gate.  Concessions will be available.  Bleacher seating is limited, so bring your chairs and come out to watch some great youth baseball and cheer on your local team.

On Opening Night Wednesday, July 27, all CBC players wearing their jerseys will be admitted free of charge

The Home Run Derby, Team competitions and Miracle League Friends game on Thursday morning at 9:00 a.m. are free of charge. Concessions featuring: home-cooked B-B-Q by Jerry Manning of Winning Taste Catering. Also join the teams for brunch on Wednesday, July 27 at11 a.m. at the CCI Building. Tickets sold in advance for $10. These and many more activities will make this a great family event, so come out and support your favorite baseball player.
