Crime Solvers needs the community’s help to catch two men who stole two HP touch screen laptop computers from Sam’s Club at 901 Wal-Mart Way on Friday, Jan. 29 at 2:40 p.m.

The first suspect distracted the store greeter while the second suspect entered the store without presenting a membership card. The second suspect loaded the two computers into a shopping cart, walked around the store for several minutes and then exited without paying for the items.

Both suspects are black males. The first suspect is 6 feet tall, weighs about 230 pounds and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, black hat and glasses. The second suspect is 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs about 260 pounds and was wearing a white zippered sweatshirt. Both suspects got into a black Chevrolet Trail Blazer. Photos of the suspects can be viewed at

Anyone with information about any unsolved crime or wanted person in the communities or schools of Chesterfield County or the city of Colonial Heights can call Crime Solvers at 748-0660, submit a tip online at or Text-A-Tip by texting “tip699” plus the tip to 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S). All three methods are anonymous. If a tip helps solve a crime or catch a fugitive, the person who submitted it could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.

Crime Solvers is looking for a major sponsor for its coming golf tournament at the Birkdale Golf Club on April 15. The golf tournament is Crime Solvers’ primary fundraiser. It depends on donations from the golf tournaments to pay cash rewards and fund its scholastic programs. Anyone interested in helping can call Crime Solvers’ business office at 748-1278.
