Driver killed in two-vehicle crash

The Chesterfield County Police Department is investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one driver. The crash occurred in the 5000 block of Centralia Road at about 3:15 p.m. today.

Police said Daniel W. Henshaw, 42, of the 6400 block of Husting Road in Chesterfield County, was traveling southeast in the 5000 block of Centralia Road when he lost control of his 2002 Mercury and crossed into the northwest travel lane colliding with a 2011 Toyota pickup.

Daniel W. Henshaw died at the scene and the six passengers from the 2002 Mercury were transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver and three passengers from the 2011 Toyota pickup were also transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police continue their investigation into this crash.
