Local students earn academic honors

Sara Meyerhoeffer was named to Longwood University President’s List for the fall 2010 term. Meyerhoeffer, a senior majoring in social work, has been accepted to VCU’s Masters of Social Work program for the fall of 2011. She graduated from Thomas Dale High School in 2008, and her parents are Dean and Christi Meyerhoeffer of Chester.

Jacob Babb was named to Longwood University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2010 term. Babb, a 2008 graduate of Thomas Dale, is a junior majoring in history. His parents are Jim and Julie Babb of Midlothian.
