Local student named in collegiate Who’s Who

A Chester native was among several area students at Hampden-Sydney College who have been recognized as outstanding campus leaders in the 2011 edition of Who’s Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges, according to a press release from the school.
Ryan Martin Carter, a sophomore, was recognized in the 2011 Who’s Who. Carter, a Davis Fellow, plays outfield on the varsity baseball team, serves as a resident adviser and is a member of the Minority Student Union. An undeclared major, Carter is a graduate of Thomas Dale High School and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carter of Chester.
