Alyssa Frye
Thomas Dale High School
College of Charleston Basketball
After a wonderful career at Thomas Dale, Frye has emerged as a starter for the College of Charleston in this, her freshman season. Frye ranks fourth in scoring and second in steals for the Cougars, who compete in the Southern Conference. In a recent game against Kansas State, Frye led all C of C scorers.
Jordan Brown
Lloyd C. Bird High School
Randolph-Macon College Basketball
Brown, a senior G-F, continues to be a bright spot for Macon. In the early going, Brown ranks fourth in scoring, fifth in rebounding, third in assists, first in blocks and first in steals for the Yellow Jackets. He led all scorers in a recent contest vs. Virginia Wesleyan, and has twice paced the Jackets in rebounding. Macon should again compete for the ODAC crown this season.
Morgan Moses
Meadowbrook High School
University of Virginia Football
The 6-foot-6-inch, 350-pound Moses was an immediate impact player for the Cavaliers. Moses was one of only eight true freshmen in the entire country to start on the offensive line. The versatile Moses saw action at both guard and tackle this season. Many experts feel that Moses can develop into one of the top offensive linemen in the nation.
