LifeStyle Builders & Developers, Inc. has donated $70,290 to the Children’s Hospital Foundation, which provides support for the programs and initiatives of Children’s Hospital of Richmond, according to a press release.

The donation includes 100 percent of the net proceeds from the sale of the company’s home constructed for the 2010 Richmond Homearama Show.

“This is our opportunity to give back to the community and support an effort that is making a difference in the lives of area children and their families,” said Lloyd Poe, owner of LifeStyle

Builders & Developers, Inc. “I have also been overwhelmed by the giving of our vendors and subcontractors. They have answered the call and gone above and beyond to donate their labor and materials enabling us to make a greater donation to the foundation.”

LifeStyle Builders & Developers, Inc. presented a check for the total amount to representatives from the foundation at an event that took place Sept. 25. Families with children served by Children’s Hospital of Richmond were present to join in the celebration.
