At its 4 p.m. on Oct. 19 meeting, which will take place in the Public Meeting Room of the County Administration Building, located at 10001 Iron Bridge Road, the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the following matter:

  • In the Bermuda District, Oham Corporation requests tentative subdivision approval for Millside, Phase 2 in a manufactured or mobile home subdivision (MH-2) district on 60.1 acres located at the south termini of Lansmill, Fiala and Swift Bluff Drives.

At its 6 p.m. on Oct. 19 meeting, which will take place in the Public Meeting Room of the County Administration Building, located at 10001 Iron Bridge Road, the Planning Commission will hold public hearings on the following matters:

  • An ordinance amendment relative to illegal parcel splits.
  • An ordinance amendment relative to accessory building standards.
  • In the Matoaca District, James R. Monk requests rezoning and amendment of the zoning district map from agricultural (A) to neighborhood business (C-2) on 2.1 acres located in the northeast quadrant of Spring Run and Qualla Roads.
  • In the Bermuda District, The Chester Company LLC requests conditional use and amendment of the zoning district map to permit a computer-controlled, variable message, electronic sign in a community business (C-3) district on 4 acres fronting 300 feet on the east line of Iron Bridge Road, 830 feet north of Landfill Drive.
  • In the Bermuda District, New Cingular Wireless PCS, LLC (AT&T) requests conditional use and amendment of the zoning district map to permit a communications tower in residential (R-7) and (R-9) districts on 2.6 acres fronting 460 feet in two places on the east line of Drewrys Bluff Road, 1130 and 1340 feet south of Swineford Road.
  • In the Dale District, Eric C. Waite and Eddie J. Espada request conditional use and amendment of the zoning district map to permit a tattoo parlor (to include body piercing) on .5 acre of a 2.3 acre tract located in a community business (C-3) district fronting 400 feet on the west line of Iron Bridge Road, at Ironbridge Parkway.
  • In the Matoaca District, Eagle Construction of VA requests amendment of zoning (Case 04SN0133) and amendment of the zoning district map relative to house size in residential (R-12) and agricultural (A) districts on 19.1 acres fronting the east and west lines of Hampton Farms Drive and Foster Ridge Terrace, also fronting the north and south lines of Hampton Farms Court and Jennings Run Drive.
  • In the Dale District, Cascade Creek Homes, Inc. requests rezoning and amendment of the zoning district map from residential (R-9) to neighborhood business (C-2) on 12.5 acres located in the northeast corner of the intersection of Cogbill Road and Five Forks Lane.
  • In the Bermuda District, Richmond 20 MHz LLC requests amendment of zoning (Case 95SN0214) plus conditional use and amendment of the zoning district map to permit a communications tower in agricultural (A) and general business (C-5) districts on 1.1 acres fronting 20 feet on the south line of East Hundred Road, 740 feet east of Rivers Bend Boulevard.
