Help catch man who robbed gas station

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs help to identify a man who robbed the BP Gas Station at 4224 Beulah Road on June 4.

The masked suspect entered the store at about 9:25 p.m., walked past customers, went behind the counter and pointed a gun at the clerk. He pushed the clerk from the register, stole money and fled the area in a dark sedan that was waiting at the corner of Beulah Road and Fuqua Avenue.

The suspect is a black male, age 20-24, 6 feet tall, with an average build and dark complexion. He pulled his T-shirt over his lower face to conceal his identity. He wore two white T-shirts, long, loose denim shorts, black shoes with white laces and a white baseball hat. Suspect photos can be viewed at From the main page, select the “Crime of the Week” link.
