Police seek woman who used stolen credit card

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs help to identify a woman who used a stolen credit card on Sunday, July 25.

A victim’s credit card was stolen while she was at El Tequila, 9645 Jefferson Davis Highway, during the early morning hours. She later learned from her bank that between 3 a.m. and 3 p.m. on July 25, the card was used 18 times at retailers around Richmond, Chesterfield and Hopewell. There were $650 in fraudulent charges.

A video camera at one of the locations captured images of a woman using the stolen card. She appeared to be a black or Hispanic female, heavyset, 20-30 years old with long, black, bushy hair. She has tattoos on her left breast and left arm. Photos of the suspect can be viewed on the Web at crimesolvers.net. From the main page, select the “Crime of the Week” link.
