Registration for fall classes at JTCC begins July 12

Registration for fall 2010 classes at John Tyler Community College will begin July 12 and run through Aug. 20, according to information from the school. A complete list of classes may be found online at  Students already enrolled at the college are encouraged to register online using the Student Information System found at 

They may also register in person at either the Chester Campus, located at 13101 Jefferson Davis Highway, or the Midlothian Campus, located at 800 Charter Colony Parkway.  On Aug. 20, the college will open at 10 a.m. due to employee convocation.


  • Chester Campus
    Monday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
    Tuesday – Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Midlothian Campus
    Monday – Wednesday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    Thursday: 8 a.m. – 7 p.m.
    Friday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    Extended Hours (both campuses)
    August 16 – 19 and August 23 – 26
    8 a.m. – 7 p.m.


Tuition and fees are $107.50 per credit hour for Virginia residents and $301.10 per credit hour for out-of-state residents.  All students must pay a comprehensive fee of $25. All tuition and fees are due by 5 p.m. on the Friday of the week in which a student registers.

Individuals interested in attending John Tyler but not enrolled must first submit an application for admission. Those who applied to the college but did not attend classes in the past year must reapply to John Tyler. The application for admission may be found online at, or it may be picked up at the Chester or Midlothian campuses. There is no application fee.
