CCHASM receives $50,000 grant

CCHASM has received a $50,000 grant through the Walmart Foundation’s State Giving Program. This grant is being used to assist CCHASM’s 25 Alliance Food Pantries with the purchase of food supplies for area residents in need.  The food pantries serve over 8,000 families each year in the Counties of Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Prince George, and the independent cities of Colonial Heights and Hopewell.

“The Walmart Foundation is very pleased to support CCHASM and their 25 Alliance Food Pantries,” said Brooke Mueller, Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations, Walmart. “Providing local families with nutritious food allows the Walmart Foundation to give back to those in need, and we are delighted to help these families.”
