Man robbed of $8,000 deposit in drive-thru

Crime Solvers is asking for your help to solve a robbery. On Monday, March 24, at approximately 6:45 a.m., a man was sitting in his vehicle in the parking lot of the SunTrust Bank at 12551 Jefferson Davis Hwy. The victim was waiting to make a deposit at the bank when he was approached by a male subject who demanded money. The victim complied and the suspect fled across Jefferson Davis Highway, making off with over $8,000 in cash.

The suspect is described as either a light-skinned black male or a white male wearing black clothing and a black mask covering his face. After running across Jefferson Davis Highway, the thief may have escaped the area in a Cadillac. Chesterfield detectives are asking for the public’s help to make an arrest in this case.
