Enon Elementary Earns a VIP Award

Enon Elementary was awarded a 2014 Board of Education Distinguished Achievement Award, which is part of the Virginia Index of Performance program.  Enon has earned a VIP Award every year since 2008, when the VIP Awards were first given.  

Governor Terry McAuliffe and the Board of Education announced on Tuesday, April 29 that 212 schools and four school divisions earned 2014 Virginia Index of Performance (VIP) awards for advanced learning and achievement. The VIP incentive program recognizes schools and divisions that exceed minimum state and federal accountability standards and achieve excellence goals established by the governor and the board.

Enon Elementary is very proud of the entire school-community.  This is a tribute to Enon students’ hard work and dedication to academic success.  Enon Elementary is supported by a wonderful, education oriented community.  It is also an indicator of a highly skilled staff who worked to help students achieve success.
