The Next Level: E. Fowler, Topping, V. Fowler

Thomas Dale High School
Freshman at Longwood University
Fowler had a successful career at Thomas Dale as a part of four Central District Championships in his career. As a senior, he earned All-Central District, All-Central Region first team honors and was named to the All-State second team. Fowler also played one season of football for the Knights. In his freshman season at Longwood he appeared in six games and earned two starts for the Lancers, playing solid defense and shooting on goal once. Academically, he is a member of the Cormier Honors College at Longwood.

Matoaca High School
Senior at Randolph-Macon College
Topping, the older brother of Matoaca standout junior Davis, will finish his career as a Yellow Jacket with his most successful season to date. The senior scored his first collegiate goal last September against Emory and Henry and made the most of his time as a reserve, scoring three goals on six shots on goal, totaling six points for the season. The forward appeared in 16 games for Randolph-Macon and earned his second career start. At Matoaca, he was an All-Central District performer.

Like his twin brother, Vaughn was a member of four straight Central District Championship teams in high school. Vaughn also earned the same accolades as a senior gaining All-Central District, All-Central Region and second team All-State honors. The Fowlers are the sons of Thomas Dale head coach Mark Fowler who played soccer, cricket and rugby at Cardiff College. Their mom also played rugby at James Madison University. The accounting major is a member of the Cormier Honors College at Longwood and is a lifeguard during the summer.
