Suspected wanted in early morning armed robbery at Belmont Road 7-11

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help this week to solve an armed robbery.

At approximately 2 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, a man wearing a hood over his head and a bandana across his face robbed the clerks at the 7-Eleven at 5549 Belmont Rd. As he entered the store, he immediately pointed a handgun at two clerks and demanded money from their registers. After receiving the money, the suspect left on foot.

The suspect was a black male, 20-25 years old, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing dark clothing and a blue bandana on his face. He was brandishing a dark-colored semi-automatic handgun.
