Watches stolen in shoplifting case

The Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program needs your help this week to solve yet another shoplifting case.

Between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, an employee of the Zumiez store within Chesterfield Towne Center noticed two subjects, one male and one female, near a watch display. Though the employee knew the display was locked, she saw the female subject reach into the display. As the employee approached the suspects, they left the store. The employee lost the two suspects in the HomeGoods store. The employee later discovered thousands of dollars worth of watches had been stolen from the display.

Both suspects appeared to be Hispanic, between the ages of 40 and 45. The male was wearing a gray-and-black striped sweater and blue denim jeans. The female was wearing a blue sweater and blue denim jeans. Pictures of the male suspect can be seen on the web at www.crimesolvers.net.
