$5,000 stolen from gas station

This week the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program is asking for your help to solve a larceny case.

On Wednesday, Sept. 25, the owner of the Exxon at 15740 Woods Edge Rd. noticed that more than $5,000 was missing from a bank bag at the business. A review of the store’s surveillance video revealed that an unknown man had entered the office just before 1 p.m. and taken the cash. The video also indicates that three female suspects distracted store employees while the male suspect stole the money.

The first suspect is described as a black male, about 40-50 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 200 pounds. He had short black hair, a mustache, a full beard and a slight overbite. He was wearing a pink dress shirt, tan dress pants and a black leather jacket.

The remaining suspects were described as black females. One woman was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a medium build; she was wearing a white shirt, white Capri pants and a brown jacket. The second woman was about 5 feet 10 inches tall with a heavy build; she was wearing a dark colored dress. The third woman was wearing a white hat, black Capri pants and a T-shirt.

Pictures of some of the suspects can be seen on the Crime of the Week page of crimesolvers.net.
