Riders for Readers Bring Books to Enon
Eric Engler of Velocity Motorcycles, the leader of Riders for Readers, spoke to the students. Students then got a chance to check out and sit on the motorcycles. They also got to pick out two new books and received a Riders for Readers T-shirt.
The event was supported by donations from Maggie’s and Columbia Gas. Riders for Readers’ visit also marked the beginning of a partnership between Enon Elementary and Columbia Gas. Columbia Gas employees will soon begin volunteering at the school working with students to promote reading.
