New Playground Built at Ecoff Elementary

Ecoff Elementary second- and third-graders now have a playground piece that’s uniquely theirs. Thanks to $20,000 provided by the Chesterfield County Playground Committee, the purple-and-yellow structure, which includes a zip line, bongo climbers, and a rotary rider, is now a permanent fixture at the Ecoff playground. The structure was designed as a joint effort between Ecoff teachers Mr. Minter and Mrs. Pollard and Miracle Play Structures in order to create a play area suitable for students seven to 10 years old.

Now that the structure is complete, Mrs. Pollard offers a hearty thank-you to Chesterfield County. She says, “According to our students, it’s money well-spent!”
