Chesterfield Classic Equestrians earn high marks at 4-H Championship

Chesterfield Classic Equestrians, represented by six riders and their coaches, competed in the Virginia State 4-H Championship Horse and Pony Show held at the Virginia Horse Center, Lexington, Va.,  in September.

Senior riders and their results include: Caitlin Schoemmell - placing 1st and 3rd in Dressage, 1st horse project book, top 10 in hippology, and receiving the Connie Collier 4H scholarship; Elizabeth Robinson -  jumping and 5th in equitation; and Mackenzie Jones -  Hunter Pleasure  3rd and 5th, reserve champion, 4th in equitation and  hunter pleasure classic 10th.

Junior riders and their results include:  Madeline Renault - Hunter Pleasure, 3rd in showmanship, 7th in equitation and top 10 in hippology; Delaney Robinson - jumping, 8th in equitation, 7th under saddle, top 10 in hippology; and Megan Gaines - Hunter Pleasure, 7th and 10th and 3rd in equitation.
