Chesterfield County Public Schools invites families to pull up a seat and enjoy dinner and fulfilling conversation at Table Talk: Meals With Meaning. After all, children don’t come with instruction manuals. Solutions for everyday problems such as managing schedules, running a family on a budget and making healthy choices can be hard to find — even in the age of Google.
Table Talk: Meals With Meaning is a free program that offers families the strategies needed to thrive in a hectic world. Every Table Talk includes a free meal for families, activities for students, child care for ages 5-12 and information sessions that will help parents find the solutions they seek. Free transportation is also available.
Table Talk will begin with a kickoff event 6-8 p.m. Oct. 10 at Manchester Middle School, 7401 Hull Street Rd. Registration for this free event is required at mealswithmeaning.eventbrite.com. The kickoff will include dinner, fun activities for children, a keynote speaker and a vendor fair showcasing organizations and businesses offering services to Chesterfield parents and families.
During the kickoff event, parents will be able to register for the remaining Table Talk sessions and choose the topics they want to learn more about on Oct. 17,
Oct. 24, Nov. 7 and Nov. 14.
