The Next Level: Green, Danaher, Johnson

A member of the 2009 state champions, Green has gone on to have a solid career at William and Mary. The former Knight had a great performance against Lafayette on September 14, logging seven tackles, forcing a fumble and returning an interception for a 25 yard touchdown as the Tribe rolled to a 34-6 victory. The Kinesiology major earned first team All-State, Region and District honors as a senior with 56 tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles.

Senior at Eastern Mennonite University
After a standout career for the Warriors, Danaher has gone on to post solid numbers in the classroom and the goal at EMU. On September 21, the senior set a career high in saves against No. 6 Christopher Newport with 21. The former Warrior notched 158 saves in 2011 and 2012, and was named to the ODAC All-Academic team in 2011 and 2012. Danaher is majoring in Elementary Education.

Meadowbrook High School
Senior at Old Dominion University
Johnson, one of the best to play at Meadowbrook worked his way in training camp with the Monarchs to be second running back on the depth chart. That success translated into his first touchdown, scored on a 4 yard run vs. Howard on September 14. ODU blew out the Bison, 76-19. As a senior at Meadowbrook, Johnson threw for 1,592 yards, rushed for 1,207 yards and scored 27 touchdowns, earning first team All-Central Region and Central District Player of the Year honors under head coach Troy Taylor.
