VSU extends Trojan Challenge to recent grads

Virginia State University is offering a unique admissions opportunity for students who just graduated from high school or community college and are unsure about the next step in their life?  VSU is holding its final Trojan Challenge on Monday, July 22 from noon – 7 p.m. in the University’s Engineering & Technology Building.

Recent high school and community college graduates, along with those interested in graduate school, are invited to visit campus and meet with admissions staff.  If applicants meet VSU’s requirements, the University will offer admission on-the-spot.  Financial aid staff will be on-hand to share options, including any scholarships for which applicants may be eligible, or to just provide guidance through the Financial Aid application process.  VSU staff will provide information on academic programs and lead campus tours.

Preregistration is not required, but those interested can receive advance information by e-mailing admiss@vsu.edu or Transferadmissions@vsu.edu.

Prospective applicants must bring a copy of high school or college transcripts (unofficial transcript accepted) and verification of an SAT or ACT score. VSU is waiving the $25 application fee for anyone attending the Trojan Challenge.
