Vandals hit Weir Road construction site

Construction equipment was vandalized on a job site in Chester, and the Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers program wants to help police solve the case.

Carr Contracting Company was hired to work on a project behind the Lowe’s Home Improvement Center on Weir Place. Between Monday, June 24, and Wednesday, June 26, someone entered the lot and vandalized five pieces of the company’s heavy equipment. Rocks were used to smash the glass out of the machines, and damage costs were estimated to be more than $7,000.

Someone is likely talking about this crime, and Crime Solvers is ready to listen.
