The Warriors fell in the first round of the Central Region tournament to Cosby 9-4, but finished the regular season in a tie with Prince George and Dinwiddie (finishing second in the tiebreaker games) and were co-champions of the Central District tournament with Dinwiddie. (All Central District tournament finals were cancelled due to weather) Junior pitcher and JMU commit Jessica McCabe, who earned All-Central Region Second Team honors to go with Central District Pitcher of the Year honors and senior Morgan Kiefer, who will be playing for Randolph-Macon next fall led the way for a Warriors team that finished 15-7 overall and 12-2 in the Central District.
Central District coach of the year Fred Stoots led the Warriors from a sluggish 2-5 start to a strong finish, capturing a Central District title by breaking a three-way tie with Thomas Dale and Prince George and winning a share of the Central District tournament with the Knights. The Warriors dropped a close game in the opening round of the Central Region tournament to UVA commit Jack Roberts and the James River Rapids 3-2. The Warriors were led by pitcher Rick Spiers, who was named Central District Player of the Year.
Thomas Dale Baseball
The Knights finished the year at 13-6-1 overall and 11-3 in the Central District, playing well in the beginning of the district slate and finishing in a tie with Matoaca and Prince George. Thomas Dale was named Central District co-champions with Matoaca Warriors. The Knights were led by a young pitching staff headlined by Tommy Barron and Collin Fleischer and will return much of their strength next season. Thomas Dale fell to Cosby 9-2 in the first round of the Central Region tournament.

Led by Central District Player of the Year and First Team All-Central Region honoree Grayson Smith, Thomas Dale won their 14th straight Central District Championship and also won a share of the Central District tournament championship for the 14th time in the last 16 years before falling at the hands of the Cosby Titans in overtime in the first round of the Central Region tournament, 2-0. The Knights finished with a 14-3-1 record for the 2013 season.

The Lady Knights enjoyed a successful season led by senior Regan Flores and sophomore Jackie Zerull. Finishing second in the Central District in the regular season to Prince George, Thomas Dale was named co-champions of the Central District tournament along the Royals due to inclement weather. The Lady Knights fell in the first round of the Central Region tournament to Cosby, 10-0, but finished their year with a 12-5 overall record and a 12-2 record in the Central District.
