Senior programs offered this summer

The Chesterfield County Department of Parks and Recreation is offering a series of programs for adults 50 and older this summer. For more information, call Judy Jones, 804-751-4135. Brain Aerobics
This class provides brain-challenging games and mental exercises, including music, memory activities, illustrations and brain boosters.

Discover Chesterfield: A Walking Club
Meet at Harry G. Daniel Park at Ironbridge, Shelter 3, to connect with new walking partners and explore the park. Led by Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation staff.

50+ History Series: Powhatan Indians

This free program explores the lives of the Eastern Woodlands Indians through drawings made by the early European settlers, historic photographs and images of modern interpreters. Participants will be able to handle reproduction tools, clothing and instruments. At the conclusion of the program, participants will make their own traditional coiled clay pots.

Basic Pickleball
