Ettrick Elementary celebrate Students of the Year

On Friday, April 26, Ettrick Elementary School recognized the Students of the Year.  Lt. Bryan Rogomentick, with Ft. Lee was the Master of Ceremonies and Dr. Marcus Newsome was the Keynote Speaker.  The Ettrick Elementary School Honor’s Choir performed a special song in honor of the occasion led by Mrs. Davis, Ettrick Elementary’s music teacher.  Each student was presented with a plaque. Students and families enjoyed cupcakes, cookies and punch.  The awards and the refreshments were provided by the support of Communities In Schools of Chesterfield.  “We are very proud of our students,” wrote Kimberly Reynolds, Ettrick Elementary Communities in Schools coordinator, in an email. Following are Students of the Year for each grade level: Kindergarten: Daniel Lonon, Max Engle, ShNyah Smith, Aaron Johnson; 1st Grade: Jada Hutchins, Camrin Dandridge, Michaela Mosby, Austin Daniel, Zoe Nesgoda; 2nd Grade: Alexis Richardson, Amity Gajewski, Lauryn George, Briyona Ward; 3rd Grade: Chrisheana Organ, Aniyah Hamlin, Taylor Veney, Serinati Flowers; 4th Grade:  Kendyl Cleck, Kashaun Holmes, Jacob Moyer, Jordan Bowe, Haniyah Bowles; 5th Grade: Zoie Harrison, Ashanti Bell, Lauren White, Amiya Crawford.
