The Henricus Foundation recently announced that it has received a third consecutive grant from The Cameron Foundation to implement the Partnership in Education Project for Petersburg City Public Schools, according to a press release.
Henricus Historical Park is a 17th-century living-history museum that has provided education programs, historical interpretation and scholarly research to the public for more than 10 years. The park participates in a wide range of community partnerships.
“These public/private partnerships serve a vital role in finding new ways to educate students in the wake of budget cuts,” said Paul B. Tubach Jr., executive director of Henricus Historical Park.
Enhanced education programs are being designed as Henricus prepares to commemorate its 400th year in 2011. For more information, visit www.henricus.org.
