Specialty Center grad TALKs TDHS in Korea

Virginia “Ginna” Lambert, a 2008 graduate of Thomas Dale High School’s Specialty Center for the Arts and a 2012 graduate of VCU School of the Arts, was recently featured in [b]racket magazine in South Korea.

After graduation from VCU and an internship at Media General while working part-time as a production assistant at the Park Group in Richmond, she left the U.S. for a teaching job in South Korea. She teaches as part of the TALK program (Teach and Learn in Korea), sponsored by the Government of South Korea. While teaching English there, she continued to pursue her passion for the arts and was featured as an “up and coming” artist in [b]racket magazine.

As part of the interview, she mentions how her four years in high school and in the TDHS arts program fine-tuned her art skills.

Her blog site chronicles her adventures in Korea. Virginia is the daughter of Dale Dejarnette and Mark Lambert.
