Entries being accepted for golf tournament benefiting Special Olympics

The Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office and the Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation Department have announced the date of their highly anticipated annual golf tournament to benefit Special Olympics Virginia.

Entries are being accepted for the May 13 tourney, which will be held at The Country Club at the Highlands, 8136 Highland Glen Dr. Preregistration is required.

Check-in will begin at 9 a.m., and the tournament will begin at 10 a.m. with a shotgun start among the teams.

The entry fee is $85 per person (four members per team), which includes access to the course, a cart, dinner, a mulligan and a door-prize ticket.
